Administrative Assistant – Join the WWOA team!  Based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association Inc. (WWOA) is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant.  This position will work closely with the Executive Director to provide administrative support for the organization through bookkeeping, membership services, and other projects as assigned.  The ideal candidate enjoys providing exceptional customer service, has the ability to work independently or as part of a team, has a demonstrated attention to detail, and meets the required 3+ years of experience accurately using QuickBooks. Experience working with Outlook, Excel and Word necessary. Prefer a candidate with nonprofit administration and an interest in caring for our natural resources. 2024 – 25 AmeriCorps Member – Join AmeriCorps at WWOA as a Community Environmental Health Member from September 2024 through August 2025. Network with woodland owners and natural resource professionals, research and write our Learn Something New weekly emails, oversee our Woodland Mentor Program, promote volunteer opportunities and recruit volunteers, create social media posts, and interact with leaders of WWOA.  Apply NOW – position open until filled or July 15.

 

Student Office Assistant – Natural resource based nonprofit educational organization in Stevens Point is hiring an office assistant for 10 hours/week starting the week of May 20 and ending the week of August 26. Work hours will be scheduled between Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm. Duties include using Word for member correspondence, assembling information packets, copying, using various Excel databases, creation/writing of handouts, and other general office duties. Advertising Sales Consultant – Wisconsin Woodlands magazine is a natural resource-based magazine focused on sustainable forestry practices and various aspects of caring for private woodlands. Seeking a part-time consultant familiar with Wisconsin’s forestry community, outdoor and woodland owner interests.  Looking for an organized, self-starting, motivated person with an interest in natural resources and great customer service skills to maintain our ongoing advertisers and recruit new advertisers for our quarterly magazine. Advertising Sales Consultant is a flexible, part-time contract position that allows you to work from home.
