Renewal Options for Expiring Conservation Stewardship Contracts
Agricultural producers wanting to enhance current conservation efforts are encouraged to renew their Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) contract. Gerald Kenzior, Jr., Mukwonago – passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015. Gerald was a life member of WWOA and enjoyed the outdoors.
Dale Parker
Dale Parker was looking to come home when he purchased 80 acres in northwest Richland County in 1978. As a teenager, he had hunted the property, but as an adult, had an added interest in producing high quality timber on the land. A lot of the property was mixed hardwoods like ash, oak, and maple, but about 18 acres of it was on an old ridgetop meadow overrun by brome grass.

Which WI DNR forester do I contact?
The WI DNR realignment has changed how woodland owners interact with their WI DNR foresters. The realignment created two different types of WI DNR foresters – integrated service and tax law foresters – that will serve woodland owners. Integrated service foresters are often times the initial contact for a woodland owner. Generally speaking, the role of the integrated service forester is to provide professional planning and technical advice to woodland owners.
