WWOA testifies at Managed Forest Law Public Hearing

Marvin Meier, Wausau – passed away on March 20, 2020. Marv served as WWOA’s President from 2001-03 and on WWOA’s Board of Directors from 1999-2005. As President, Marv led WWOA through the many changes made to the Managed Forest Law program in 2002 with AB 323, the creation of WWOA’s gift membership program, and the publication of the 100 Years of Wisconsin Forestry book in partnership with WI DNR. George Sheppard Jr., Menomonie – passed away March 14, 2020. Retired WI DNR and Dunn County forester and active WWOA Chippewa Valley Chapter member. In 2014, WI DNR presented him with the Friend of Forestry award.
