Thursday, August 23
Beer, Cheese & Wine Tour: tour Cedar Grove Cheese Factory, Wollersheim Winery, and Capitol Brewery, with a stop at the Old Feed Mill for lunch. The Cedar Grove Cheese Factory has won several awards for cheese made with BGH free milk. Wollersheim Winery produces more than a dozen different wines and has won hundreds of awards in national and international competitions. The final stop at Capital Brewery will conclude with beer tasting in the Bier Garten.
American Players Theater (Thursday evening): Enjoy dinner and Shakespeare's comedy "Twelfth Night" at American Players Theater near Spring Green. "Twelfth Night" is a reference to the 12th night after Christmas Day, or the Eve of the Feast of Epiphany, which became a day of carnival and revelry.

UW Arboretum Tour: 1,200 acre UW Arboretum borders the southern half of Lake Wingra and features many distinct ecological communities, several horticultural collections, effigy mounds, historic artifacts, a Visitor Center and has more than 20 miles of trails which are great for biking.
Capitol Square Tour: Following a tour of the Capitol building, learn about the legislative process, how to contact legislators and then meet with your representatives. Have lunch from a food cart or from a State Street restaurant, then enjoy the Madison Children's Museum. This green space provides healthy exhibits for kids to interact with, and wood for the floor and cabinents was donated by WWOA members and the Walnut Council.
Rule State Demonstration Forest Tour: the mission of the 80-acre forest is to demonstrate forest management practices for hte walnut timber type. This includes active forest management to encourage walnut regeneration, including timber sales with follow-up site preparation, and timber stand improvement. Deer exclosures were installed several years ago and results are being followed.
Epic, Lake Belle, and Hall Barn Tour: Tour the interesting and imaginative grounds and buildings at Epic Systems in Verona, then head to Lake Belle View to check out a wetland improvement project. The lake serves as a national model for other millponds and rivers. The tour will conclude with lunch at Dave and Evelyn Hall's restored 1850s stone barn.
Saturday, August 25
Farmers Market Tour: Start the day off by a trip to the Captiol Square for fresh produce and baked goods.
